Let's SWIFT it!
Namaste dosto
Wassup guys? Excited?
Well who is not excited i don't think so there is a need to tell anyone on what am gonna talk about. Everyone present got the clear idea what is gonna cook here todayπ . Yeah today we will be talking about the India's very own favorite car the none other than MARUTI SUZUKI SWIFT. Swift is a car which most of indians love like anything, it is this car which changed the hatchback segment in India after it's launch in 2005. Swift is like the favorite boy of all indians. People have waited for too long for the makeover of this beauty. And MARUTI SUZUKI has delivered it upto the expectations of the people and the wait was definitely worth it. So talking about the outside swift now gets projector headlamps with DRLs (daytime running lights), the grill is now bigger than earlier which looks more aggressive, it now gets sleek diamond cut 15 inch alloy wheels and the major change is that the rear door handle is now mounted on C pillar, the tail lamps are now full LED with 3d effects. The new SWIFT is a bit compact then earlier as the overall length has been gone down by 10mm but the wheelbase has been increased by 20mm which in total is 2450mm and the width has increased by 40mm. The boot space is increased by 58 litres which in total brings upto 268 litres. Though increasing the boot space and length the new SWIFT is 90kgs lighter than the ongoing swift in the market. This all changes in the SWIFT makes it look more mature than before. So talking about safety features SWIFT comes with dual airbags, ABS with EBD & ISO fix mounts and the good news is this all features are available in all variants and also the new body is compliant with the all new pedestrian safety norms. Maruti Suzuki has made sure that changes they have made inside are definitely noticable and eye catchy, talking about the rear seats by increasing the length the legroom and headroom are now quite good, the SWIFT now gets aircraft style dials facing towards the driver and even the info and entertainment 7 inch touchscreen is slightly tilted towards the driver which also gets apple carplay and Android auto. Enough of the looks, exterior and interior π now let's talk about SWIFT's heart which drives our heart, the swift comes in 1.2 petrol and 1.3 diesel engines respectively. Both the engines gets a 5 speed manual and 5 speed AMT transmission. The AMT transmission is available on V and Z variants and it misses out on B+ and Z+ variants. The 1.2 petrol is lil bit refined which produces 82hp and 130Nm of torque while the 1.3 diesel engine produces 75hp and 190Nm of torque. Both the engines are nicely refined as there is no much noise in the cabin. The pricing of the SWIFT is like cherry on the cake with so many features. The price for petrol variant starts from 4.99L - 7.29L for manual transmission and for AMT transmission it starts from 6.34L - 6.96L respectively and for diesel variant it starts from 5.99L - 8.29L for manual transmission and for AMT transmission it starts from 7.34L - 7.96L ex showroom delhi. SWIFT has it's competition with the likes of hyundai grand i10, tata tiago, honda brio but do you guys think this mature and subtle boy won't stand in the market? According to my info the booking of the SWIFT has started with the waiting period of around 6-8 months do correct me if am wrong! So this was my complete review on MARUTI SUZUKI SWIFT for you guys i hope you like it❤️. And yeah MARUTI SUZUKI are even launching the sport version of this hatchback which will be out in somewhat mid 2018 not sure yet!
See y'all guys in my next post which will be out soon till then follow, comment and share
